Thread: Short Story: Nightmare in Nylons - Chapter 1 |
|
The best advice I can give is tell your story at your pace. I know that may sound too simple, but too often, a writer will end up taking away from the finished product by rushing and trying to force it. Just imagine the story in your head and write it the way you see it.
As for spelling and grammar, a good word processor program should have a spell checker and in the long run, it will be worth it.
Keep writing and best of luck,

Thread: A quick pic |

I took a pic at an office, I think the shoe on the side and the black and white make the feel of the pic a little sinister as to how that shoe got lost.
Enjoy,

Thread: Is it just me?! |

My original Idea, when I had my last system and created the one below, (sorry for the background and the lighting, I was trying all sorts of things), was a super-villain, (like a rcade/Joker-esque villain, no real superpowers, just above human norm) would lure the entire SWAT team into a funhouse style trap where they'd all end up losing articles of clothing little by little... This pic was in the works to be the ending shot... Like the end of the first Mortal Kombat movie... where they all turn around and face the evil... I have a new PC and am trying to get the hang of the newer software and I just worked up that diving SWAT pic last night...

Or does NyLondon P.D. need a S.W.A.T. team?

Neither can I Sheer. Tell you the truth, I've been trying to formulate a new story and I haven't come up with anything yet, but I'll keep thinking. Maybe a crime drama.

Thanks Fantomaz, I picture the leprechauns as a couple of outcasts from Ireland who have found a wonderful and playful home in NyLondon. They are, in a sense, completely devoted to one another and that makes the dialogue a little easier to write. Great characters.
Thanks for the comments,

Judge Melinda and Siobahn were characters I came up with, in Siobahn's case, I didn't see a model with that name and I wanted a model type Irish girl from Ireland and I love the name Siobahn.
In the case of Judge Melinda Belanger, I wanted a tough judge type with a extremely naughty side.

This sort of got out of hand, (30 pages) but rather than chop it into three parts, I left it as one big story. Hope everyone likes it, please feel free to comment.

Part II is available here... http://www.web-base.at/vlibrary/fantomaz...readid=152</a>
I have Part III nearly finished and that will be it for this particular Friday night... I have ideas for a few more stories along the same lines that evolve from the stories, just have to find the time to sit down and write.
Thanks for the interest and enthusiasm.
