Even if he did, Barbara Gordon/Batgirl may not even exist in this continutiy, or be too old to be a member of YJ (If this is the second robin, and he is as old as he looks, Gordon would be out of colledge by now). As for an ambush loss, who and how? MM's as noted earlier very well may not have clothes that are removable. Artemis wears boots casually (tough to lose). We havent seen much of Zatarra's casual wardrobe, but I think she wears high boots as well. So your limted to the classic 4. 1. Bad Guy grabs heroine by ankle, heroine sheds footwear to escape 2. Poision ivy attack with something viny (this is basically 1 with a plant insead of a bad guy) 3. Heroine sprains ankle and possibly 4. heroine kicks footwear off in order to do something (hit switch on wall, knock out bad guy, free her toes up to do something that her hands cant because they are tied up etc.) I appluat you enthusiasm, but it might be best to simply sit back and wait and see. If it does happen, you can be pleasantly surpised, and if it doesn't (more likely) you'll have save yourself months of tension and agita. The hunt would not be nearly as fun if it was easy. As Rene Descartes said (I think) "It is not good for a man to get everything he wants"

If this person is comitted to illustrating the whole book, there is a chance of there being a shoe loss picture being posted by her in a few weeks, when she gets to the Wicked Witch (which is chapter 12). I can confirm this as I have no idea which version of the story or scenes the artist is planning (back when I was in correspondance with her, she intimated that they were going with a variation of the Cinar cartoon version of the scen (which would have a shoe removal, but she has changed her style depiction of Oz on an almost weekly basis since then, so what she is planning now I have no idea (as of the last WWW sketch sheet, it looked like she was basing on Hauge, which does NOT have a shoe loss illustration, but she may change back again). She seems to be getting through a chapter ever other day or so, so we probably do not have long to wait.

Last night's new episode of Johnny test featured the girls barefoot (but otherwise in normal clothes) for the last 10 minutes or so (it's not up yet in english , but I found a link in spanish. Around 7:30 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E2j0WK2J1Q

There's actually a little editing blooper in the shots. The girls go from barefoot, to shod to barefoot again.

There's also an episode that's exactly like this one from a show called Brandy and Mr Whiskers it has the same plot and the female character lose a shoe at the end I have no idea why these episodes a have so many things in common including the shoe loss maybe it was written by the same guy or something.

Speaking of disney shows I've noticed that there's at least been one shoe loss in any series name any show from disney and a character has probably lost a shoe.

...the only one I can name where a female hasn't lost a shoe would probably be The Proud Family. I would probably add Doug to the list, too, becuase they originally ran the show before Nick got it.

There was also another one shoe scene in Wizards of Waverly Place, where Harper had Alex use her pink flat to hold frozen yogurt.

There actually is one, sort of. It was in the very, very last episode (the one where you find out the identity of the Fleemco representative). As part of breaking into the Fleemco HQ one of the girls. (the Japanese one with the battle armor) takes on some guards. Whne you see her afterward her armor is wrecked, and that includes one of the legs missing, so you see her bare foot.
I seem to recall Pepper Ann having at least 4. I remeber Pepper herself coming back from some sort of ski realated adventure with a broken ski boot one one foot and only a sock on the other. I also seem to recall her losing one of her sneakers in one episode, but don't remember which. I seem to recall and episode where moose took off one of her sneakers for some reason. Finally there was an episode where they tried to cure the blonde girl of her fear of swans by having her climb into a swan enclosure and then get involved in an argument (which keeps them from noticing her cires for help) when she finally manages to climb out of the enclosure, one of her loafers is missing.

It was a nerdy butterfly; she did it to see Maggie's adhesive foot soles. There is also and episode where Maggie's granmother gets one of her pumps knocked off when she is tackled by protesters outside Maggie's house.

PB&J otter had a few as well. Jelly used a "magic" mirror to find one of Butter's missing shoes. Jelly also took off her own shoes in one epsode (before jumping in the water to wash off some makeup and put her brother's on in another (it was early in the moring and she wasn't paying attention). There is also an episode where she takes one of her saddle shoes off becuse she realized the reason her foot has been hurting is that her brother's marble fell in her shoe.
