I checked back. I looks like they were attached to the stilts she was wearing to make herself look taller, and she discarded them when she used one of the stilts to plug a speargun.
Though, if one steps back from ones fetish and looks at it logically it does make sense, they aren't exactly the ideal footwear for adventuring (beyond the heel thing, they slip on and off rather easily)
And in this universe given how she got them they wouldn't have the built in tech they do in some of the other ones.
Speaking of signature shoes looks like Daphne's now has an official in Canon name

Having trouble locating links for these, but both show up on Boomerang from time to time and are also available on Amazon prime
Dorothy and The Wizard of Oz Season 1 Episode 19 "If the Shoe Fits"
Double single shoe. For a lot of the episode, Dorothy is in one Ruby Slipper and Wilhelmina is in one as well. Later at the end when Dorothy get's the other slipper back, Wilhelmena doesn't get her boot back and we see her in one boot and one striped stocking.
Be Cool Scooby Doo, Season 2 Episode 4 "How to Train Your Coward"
Daphne takes off one of her sneakers to hit a monster.

Episode 7 "Halloween" also features Daphne in one shoe, dressed as a zombie Velma.

Just watched the new Captain Marvel movie last night and spoilers ahead!
Near the first 20-30 mins of the movie, Brie Larson's character, the titular Captain Marvel, is captured and put through some sort of mind reading device. When she comes to her hands are shackled and her feet are also locked down - barefoot.
When she breaks free she fights off her captors barefoot, fighting throughout various parts of a spaceship, before returning to where she was held captive to pick up her boots and put them back on.

Sounds like a great scene but ... Barefoot? What self respecting superheroine wears boots without hose? Why can't this happen to Supergirl with her sheer black pantyhose?

Is there anything else about this lost shoe later in the movie?

I find horror movies and especially zombie movies to be a good opportunity to see foot grabs and hopefully shoe loss.
In the new Netflix show, Black Summer, in episode 1, about 16 minutes in, Jaime King's character is trying to scale a chainlink fence while being chased by her now zombie husband. As she's climbing, the zombie tries to grab her and eventually, she gets her right athletic shoe torn off, revealing a black sock. She obviously gets saved and the scene ends. The next time you see her, both shoes are back.
