very nice. I have to say i was quite surprised this didn't happen more with two of these groups because of the loose sneakers they appeared to be wearing.

Actually, I'm not sure it is necessarily a loss. Given the hunger I wouldn't be surprised if we are supposed to think Timmy's mom ATE her shoe.

Just started binge watching this show called Wynona Earp on Netflix. It features an attractive girl wearing boots 99% of the time while she hunts demons. When she shoots them in the head, the demon gets dragged through the earth and back to hell.
Anyway... so far... pretty big disappointment. There was a really, really close episode thought. Wynona was captured by an evil doctor and woke up in a hospital gown. The doctor paralyzed her from the waist down and just to prove a point, the evil doctor tortures her bare big toe with pliers, to the point she bleeds.
Next scene, it turns out she was faking the paralysis and suddenly she's running around the hospital with her boots back on and the hospital gown. No sign of limping, injury, or anything, just back at it and hunting demons. Seriously... where did she even find her boots? Why not the rest of her clothes? Maybe the actress had a clause in her contract that she can't run barefoot.
Anyone else watch shows that may have potential only for it to be a "so close, yet so far" moment?

Also, in that vein...
I watched a lot of another show featuring a booted heroine... this was probably the best scene in the entire show:

I could be mistaken, but it looks like she's wearing sheer stockings just for the shoe loss part of the scene (but not for the rest). Perhaps because it made her shoes slip off more easily.

Yeah i have seen a few of these on TV shows and Us cartoons. though in many animes i have seen a good number of scenes where a character is walking around one shod or barefoot for the whole episode because she lost her shoe(s) early on. And if anyhing i makes me wonder why American shows don't feature stuff like shoe loss that often anymore, or even shoe loss that we can see. as sometimes after a character lose's one or both of her shoes they just keep her feet hidden for the whole episode.
