This thread, originally created by Omega about superheroine shoe loss, is now a repository for video clips and pictures of shoe loss scenes from comics, cartoons, games and movies. This thread is for female shoe loss only.
http://with1shoe.com/ already has an extensive list from live action movie and tv, but doesn't really link to videos and doesn't explore comics, cartoons and games at all. Still, it's a good place to start if you want to start searching for scenes to link since. Hopefully, this thread will be more inclusive.
Guidelines: Please provide a description of what you're linking and don't link any illegal pornographic content. It can be adult, but if it's not worksafe please say so in a description. Stay away from linking shady websites that may have viruses. If it's a video include the time in the video in which the shoe loss occurs. Or link directly to the time, if possible. For example, if it's a youtube video, you could also add "&t=13m08s" at the end of the url to allow clicking directly to 13 minutes 8 seconds. Hopefully this will become an extensive list of scenes that will save us time in searching out this kind of stuff.

In fact sometimes female characters lose a shoe then it reappears. I remember one time seeing She-ra or Teela throw her boot then somehow getting it back with no explanation. Also in this new show called young justice there was this character called artemis who was escaping from an android, but the android had firm grip on her boot but somehow she managed to get away with her boot. Also this happens in live action. The most recent one was in that disappointing 3rd transformers movie where the female lead was running through most of the movie in heels without losing a shoe. |

Also in many video games there are many female characters who fight in heels and kick a lot. I'm surprised princess peach hasn't lost a shoe while being kidnapped by Browser or fighting in super smash bros series. Also in Street fighter their is this character called Rose who fights in heels but never loses a shoe it's kind of funny because there is this other character called Sakura who wear tightly laced sneakers who always seems to lose a shoe. Unfortunately Capcom has gotten rid of this idea and video game shoe loss is very rare in cutscene and gameplay. There's also this game called mirror's edge the protagonist could've lost her shoe at anytime during the game it would've made the gameplay very interesting if she did.

Yes I would, definitely. I too am very much interested in the topics you brought up. And I agree that it's frustrating watching a movie, cartoon, or show in which the woman would easily lose a shoe, but she doesn't. Droppedit has a site devoted to keeping an extensive list of this occurrence in live action movies and tv shows. It's very rare in games and I've tried putting a list together, but haven't had much success. The most notable are Japanese fighting games like Street Fighter (as mentioned with Sakura), Soul Calibur 4, Tekken 6 and an mmo jrpg called Vindictus. The rest are fairly obscure adult Japanese games, often with characters that look a bit too young for my liking.

Did you in Star Ocean The Last Hope Reimi gets her boot taken away from her and has to remain one boot off for a while in the game but unfortunately she gets the boot back, I think its the closest thing we'll see for a final fantasy shoe loss. Also in a manga called Jojo's Bizarre adventure there's a character called Trish Una who gets her boot destroyed, she should be missing a boot through out the series but because of continuity errors she gets it back,there was a video game based off of this but she doesn't lose her boot, I've rarely seen CGI shoe loss. Have you ever seen a show,cartoon,comic or manga where a girl loses a shoe and somehow gets the exact same shoe back or is it just me. I think that Droppedit should make an animated and video game section. I know there's a website called animefeet but it doesn't focus on shoe loss. If you could chose any female to permanently lose her shoe who would it be, I would chose Boa Hancock I'm surprised there hasn't been a joke or scene in One piece where she loses her high heeled shoe while running or kicking. Also there was an episode of American dragon where this psychic loses her sandal twice I don't think she gets it back the second time. Also in this old show called Juniper lee a girl loses her boot.

If so, yes I was aware of that, but I didn't include it because it's not really losing a boot, more like having it removed while lying sick, which is cool, but not exactly what I'm looking for. Plus her foot is stone, and not in nylons, which a turnoff for me.

I've seen Animefeet and like the site, but there's too much focus on barefeet, and like you said not enough on shoe loss. Thank god for this site.

I never saw One Piece so I'm not familiar with this character, but it'd be cool if you'd link an example. If I had to pick one though, I'd probably pick Yoko from Gurren Lagen. Her boots are always unzipped and it always drove me crazy that they never flew off while she was jumping around. Shoe loss doesn't have to be permanent for me for it to be a turn on though. I don't mind them getting it back, as long as they go without it for awhile.

The above example. There are more though, like Princess Peach and Zelda in the Smash Brothers games like you mentioned. Any girl who wears low cut shoes like high heels or flats with stockings and are damsels in distress fall into this. A lot of times I felt it should happen to cartoon characters like Betty Boop, Minnie Mouse, Daphne from Scooby Doo, or Olive Oyl. Actually it did happen a few times.

I like the idea, and would love reading a comic about it. I do tend to prefer a more innocent, accidental shoe loss that doesn't involve a fetish, but either way interests me.

It was in the episode bodyguard that the girl from american dragon lost her shoe. I remember that Ada lost her shoe in the last cutscene of resident evil umbrella chronicles. I also remember it wasn't that great of a shoe loss.

Also have you seen shoe loss in a CGI cartoon like that new Star wars show. Why do you think female CGI characters don't lose a shoe, do you think it has do with the animation budget. I think in this pic she probably lost a boot the way you said she would in fight and is now a little pissed. The artist who actually made it didn't explain why she's missing a boot. I'm ok with this but knowing the reason why would be great.

I thinks it's nice thats there's a lot of fan art of this but still it would have nice to see her lose a boot during her adventure with Simon and Kamina. I kind of understand why you said you'd be ok with Yoko not losing a boot permanently. The more I think of it the more realize there's no way the writers of that show would let that happen and it wouldn't work in the plot since she wouldn't be able to replace it since there aren't any stores and if she was missing a boot throughout the series the fans who don't have this fetish probably wouldn't be able to take seriously. I think this is why female characters in adventure shows don't lose a shoe or at least get it back. It would be interesting to an e-comic in the fantasy zone which has a group of heroes are on a quest and the female mage loses a shoe and can't create another so it causes the team some problems. In fact imagine how it would have affected Cloud and the team if Aeris or Tifa lost her boot on the way fighting a monster in Final Fantasy 7 or if Terra lost her boot in Final fantasy 6. I'd love to see on of Square enix's female characters lose a shoe in a cutscene or maybe a side mission where you have to steal from them as a prank and give it to one of the other characters.

Wow, she's wearing black nylons and everything. That would have been an amazing scene if we actually got to see her foot after she lost her shoe, what a shame. Oh well, I'll add it to the list anyway.

Here another one its not so great but its the closest thing we'll get to Princess peach losing her shoe. I know she's a toy but I find it cute that she's embarrassed to go with out her other shoe. Her personality is actually similar to some of the e-models on this site.

In this game you have rescue a girl whose shoe has been taken by terrorist. I'm curious why a terrorist would take her shoe, it never explained and she remains throughout the rest of the game without. This would be great if she was 20 and missing a high heeled shoe or boot but unfortunately she's just 11 and missing a sneaker.

I know this happened once in Teen titans when Raven lost a shoe thankfully an artist drew her missing her shoe but unfortunately not in her original costume, despite its still a good pic

Do you know any comic book shoe loss I know Batgirl has used her boot turn off a device and kicked it off at an enemy (I wished she did that more often), Black Canary removed her boot when sprained her ankle and broke the heel off the boot and there are other shoe loss mentioned on Droppedit.

Here's my final question, if you could chose any square enix to lose a shoe who would it be and how would you want them to lose it? I would chose Tifa I'd like to her lose her boot while fighting the same way Hatice did. Also out of all the ongoing tv series right now which character would you want to see lose a shoe? Right now the only character I can think of would probably be Miss Martian from Young Justice, her boot are like Raven's but with heels, they could be easily removed villain while she's flying away. Unfortunately she's in her black ops gear most of the time and she's quite fast.

Hey, thanks for all the links, I might have to update my list when I have more time. I don't know if I have answers to all of your questions, but I will say that, of FF characters, I want to see Terra lose a boot the most (I wrote a story and comic page about her after all). I love her polka dot pantyhose!
