Another anime one
Bobo-bo-bo-bobobo (probably put the hypens in wrong)
In the episode featuring Denbo, during her song she makes metion of getting so depressed she has to pick her toes. When they show the animation of this Denbo is indeed sitting with one boot off, picking her toes (0:4

I already knew about the avengers scene I didn't say anything about it because it wasn't shoe loss and I didn't want to spoil it for anyone but since Joss Whedon was the director it was obvious that there was going to be a foot scene. There's technically one plot hole why didn't they tie up her legs?
I'm not into sandals but I find this kind of cute.

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt: Remember when I said there was a loss in this series, but didn't list it becuase I thought it was to small? Turns out there was actually some more, albeit rather erratic. In the episode Once Upon A Time in Garterbelt, Panty and Stocking follow Garterbelt into a secret dungeon under the church and get caught in a bunch of traps. Panty and Stocking get aught in one of them and Stocking uses one of her swords (one stocking) to get them out. In that scene (2:48 ) she doesn't have one of her slippers on, but a few seconds later (when the match goes out in her mouth), she has it back on again. They then have to fight a giant golem, and while we don't see the ensuing fight. It's clear that Panty lost one of her clogs in the fight as during the end of the flashback sequence (5:34, 9:00) , she only has one clog on.

It's very disappointing that a show called "Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt" doesn't have any stocking foot scenes.

The thread I got the link had someone mentioned a Mulan player takig off one of her slippers so a fan could try it on. But as I said earlier, Disney park rules probably prohibit (or at least, discourage), such actions.

Well, it looks like I was right about the discouragement. I happend to bump into the following link on Deviant. This is from the gallery of a person who was taking pictures at Disney Land, and happened to take a picture of a Jane and Tazan player's feet

First and foremost it appears that I was wrong, Disney fakes the boots as well, if you look it is pretty clear that Jane's "boots" are in fact a pair of character shoes (which basically look like heeled Mary Janes) with a cloth gaiter either on top or underneath them (probably over, though the edges must have been sewn in to bulge that way) If you look carfefully, you can even see a tiny bit of the end of the right shoe's strap peeking out (unless those are real full gaiters, in which case, that may be part of the elastic that runs underneath) More importantly, note that the other actor the one playing Tarzan is wearing sandals. This seems to indicate that Disnely has all of it's character actors wear shoes, even if the character they play is normally barefoot. A little later in the gallery, there is a picture of the feet of an actor who is playing Rapunzel (another barefoot character) and she also has shoes (pink flat slipons) I imagine anyone playing Alladin (well Alladin in his poor clothes, his Prince costume has those curly toed gold boots) also wears sandals.

I can actually remember one show about a kid and his companion retrieve objects and return them to their owners. One of the objects was a queen's shoe. The model of the queen actually had one shoe. They didn't cheat by hiding her feet.

Went to the movie theatre today. While there weren't any losses, there were a lot of pantyhose shots in Dark Shadows.

It really doesn't coout if one is looking for pictures (on the grounds that none of his works are illustrated) but I have a slight feeling that the fantasy author Tom Holt may have a shoe loss fondness. An unusally high number of his female characters lose, remove, drop, throw or break the heel off of one or both of thier shoes.
