Promo image for an upcoming cartoon called Amphibia. Hope this reflects the actual show and isn't just added flair for the promo pic. Not very up on anime or cartoons, but this one intrigued me, although I find the character a bit too young-looking for my tastes. Here is a clip I found of her getting her shoe knocked off in a fight. Sorry. Have to type in the url manually. For some reason, I can't upload it or put the video up. She is hot, and would have made a great Laura in the film version of my novel. (She's just the right age, and left-handed too!) But she's too big now for the part, and her politics have become too left-wing for me.

Girl wakes up with one heel off after being attacked. (She has socks on.) Takes quite a few pages to eventually put it back on.

Not a single shoe loss but a double. Captain Marvel is out bowling but then gets upset and flies away. As she does, her bowling shoes fall off and she flies to the moon in her socks.

Awesome job again. Too bad no stockings (except for maybe that April O'neil one, but it's hard to tell). Also the last one made me laugh. I'm wondering if it wasn't so much a loss as much as it was her kicking off her shoes so she didn't get charged for them by the bowling ally. Still fun to see and I like her socks.
