I would also suggest as a general rule of thumb when posting to make note of where the image came from. Much as I have come to realize that some servers used have a problem displaying images sourced through Danbooru (so if I want to show a pic from there, it is usually a good idea to copy it to my Snapfish or Photobucket account first.) quite a few of the video links (especially the anime ones) are not playable by me (and I would assume, by others) because they are on sites that are not compatible with our systems, or require downloading their OWN streaming software first, which I won't do (this isn't really my computer so I don't download ANYTHING to it permanently, and I am just paranoid enough to realize that a GREAT way for a person to get malware or a spybot onto your system would be to hide it in something you HAD to download to make a video streaming program work. )
I agree a wikia might come in handy (though to keep the problem from re-occurring it would probably be a good idea to arrange it alphabetically (after dividing by genre) since if we do it by how long ago it was posted, we'll basically have the same problem we have now.) But it has to be somewhere where it is pretty open (i.e. not a Yahoo! group) Most of our members start out as guests and we want to make sure that future ones can wander around and decide they want to be here rather than scaring them off by demanding they register just to even SEE anything that's posted. We are a community not a private club.

In the case of a wiki, I'd rather just use the already-existing Animated Feet Scene wiki, since there are plenty of shoe loss pictures and links in there, but they're even categorized into genres (for instance, that LEGO one that omega just posted).
I don't know why, but seeing too many different archives/catalogues is both overwhelming and a bit unnecessary. A DeviantArt group was fine, but then trying to make a TVTropes page and then a closed off Yahoo group seemed a bit too much.

Airspeed: A girl' s shoe gets sucked off of her foot as she tries to save herself from getting sucked out of a damaged airplane.
Tombs of the Blind Dead: A woman's foot gets stuck in a staircase as she tries to escape from undead monsters, and abandons her shoe before they can grab her.

Space Dandy, "Lovers are Trendy, Baby"
While on a fake date with Dandy, Miss Scarlet get the heel of her shoe stuck in a crack in the pavement and slips her foot out of it to pull it out. Dandy then tries and manages to break the heel off.

For those of you who have Netflix, or if you can find these movies anywhere else, I have found two different one shoe scenes from two different movies
The Hole- while in a public bathroom, the main female character looks under a stall because she hears a noise. She sees two feet, one wearing a lace sock and a white flat, and the other only wearing one very dirty lace sock. Later in the movie, you find out that this is the ghost of a girl wo had fallen off of a rollercoaster and apperently lost a shoe. She is shown standing in one shoe several times.
Odd Thomas- this movie is about a man named odd who has the ability to see ghosts. In the beginning of the movie, a girl appears to him to warn her about a man who killed her( who he was talking to). After the killer runs, the camera zooms out, and you can see the girl, who looks like she was hit by a car( which is why she is dead). She is wearing only one sneaker, because the other one was supposedly knocked off.
I will try to find links for these. But in the meantime, you can try and find them.
