The new season of Stranger things has a scene 1 hour and 6 mins into the 4th episode in which Nancy and Robin are running away from the cops and lose their high heels. Nancy is wearing sheer nude hose and Robin is wearing thin frilly ankle socks. Also, you get a close up of Robin's feet earlier in the episode (20 mins in before she loses her shoes) as she's struggling walking in her heels and almost steps out of them. Unfortunately you don't get a close up after they lose their shoes, but it's still a nice scene if you have the pause button ready.

Broken Age - A really good point and click adventure game by Tim Schafer that's free on gamepass right now. There's actually a few shoe loss scenes in this game. But only one where you actually see the shoes come off.

In Act 1, there's a scene where 4 girls get snatched out of their shoes by Mog Chothra and then get eaten. Now, to be fair, I'm not sure they're wearing shoes to begin with, as their dresses are long and they appear to be dressed as cupcakes. But the first girl to get eaten is definitely wearing stockings, and since girls usually don't go out wearing stockings without shoes I'm guessing they are.

https://youtu.be/mag-VsLvW_M?t=460

The next one is when Vella loses her cloud shoes temporarily in Act 1 when she falls through a lumberjack's house. Unfortunately you don't actually see the shoes come off.

https://youtu.be/mag-VsLvW_M?t=2371

But the best is in act 2 when Vella loses her cloud shoes while walking on whipped cream sludge. There's a nice close up here, but you never see her toes. Perhaps it's because she's wearing hosiery of some kind, but I doubt it since she goes through much of the game barefoot and they'd be torn to shreds. Still I like to imagine she is.

https://youtu.be/Aq_oal5Nt_U?t=2413

There's also an unusually large amount of shoe themed puzzles in this game, I suspect one of the people who worked on this game had a thing for shoes, but those are the only shoe loss scenes. I'm still playing through this game so there may be more. If so I'll add it here.

Yeah, it's very good. I helped with some of the text. Some of it is a little too lewd for my taste, but it is very well made. The last part should be out soon. Also really looking forward to Scratch's new game, that demo was excellent.

It kinda highlights the absurdity of this whole issue to me too. If literally all that makes a fictional image under or over 18 is whether the creator *says* it is then that just seems like a trivial distinction. A drawing is a drawing. If it looks like a kid then yeah, that's weird. If it doesn't then great. I'm not gonna bother trying to track down whether whoever created it has explicitly said the character is 18+. Just use common sense.

Yeah I agree with that too. When I say "err on the side of caution" that just means be aware that this is a difficult subject before you post anything that could be interpreted in a sexual way, even if it comes from a mainstream source. Obviously if it's overtly sexual and involves kids don't post it. Especially if it involves real kids and isn't just a drawing or cartoon. But if it's just cartoon feet I think it's okay, just be aware not everyone sees it as "safe" content.

BTW I like how you still provided great links even when discussing this serious topic Smile

It's a complex topic. I am never really sure how to handle mainstream scenes which are clearly created in a different non-sexually oriented context, specifically if minors are targetting adults like for example in "look who's talking" with the child under the table teasing an adult woman by first taking off her high heeled shoe and then tickling her foot. Although in my opinion such a scene is acceptable - and also would be doable according to my statement because the child is the culprit not the victim - I still would avoid re-creating a scene like that because of the context it is in. Solution for me: I replace the child with an immaturely behaving young adult of 18+ just to be on the safe side even if this person is never being a target. And because immature behavior is more plausible for younger adults, my preferential playground is college or senior high school class which at least in my country definitely means that everyone in it is of age 18+

Yes, and I do the same in my stories as well just to be on the safe side even though I've been a lot more lenient about what get's posted here. I don't like to ban or censor anything unless it clearly crosses the line.

The thing is I (like many of you) have had this fetish since I was a little kid, so a lot of my memorable tickling experiences (like the aforementioned under table tickling) inevitably involved kids since I was a kid myself. For me this was an innocent time and these were very happy memories. But when I hear the word "pedophilia" I think of disgusting, horrible and traumatizing sex acts that can permanently destroy a child's life. But all of my childhood tickling memories have been nothing but pleasant. To me tickling is the opposite of traumatizing. Tickling isn't sex and showing feet isn't nudity so we probably shouldn't worry too much about this as long as the subject matter is tame. Podophelia is very different from Pedophelia even though the words sound the same. But again, just be aware that not everyone sees it that way so err on the side of caution.

Olive Oyl is clearly an adult character, but I definitely agree that we should not be posting drawings of underage characters in sexual situations even if they're just cartoons.

I guess the real question is what constitutes a "sexual situation". Most of what's been posted has just involved feet and shoe loss, and most of it from mainstream sources (often PG or G rated). To imply that a G rated cartoon you saw as a kid constitutes pornography just because it was posted here is a bit ridiculous IMO. But it is true that simply the act of posting it here changes the context and may cause people to see it in a more sexual light than intended.

Is shoe loss a sexual situation? To most people it isn't, but to those of us with a foot fetish it very likely is sexually arousing. Does that mean it should be treated as pornography? Of course not. If we started doing that then everything would be considered pornography since there's a fetish for pretty much everything out there.

But I acknowledge that not everyone sees it the way I do so we should err on the side caution when posting anything that involves depictions of anyone under the age of 18 EVEN if it's just a cartoon, and EVEN if it's just feet and EVEN if it's not clear if the character is an adult or not. There's a reason BosArt includes a disclaimer in his comics that says all characters have a fictional age of 18+ and that's to remove any such doubt. We're a small community and fortunately I haven't seen any outright child pornography posted here nor have I seen anyone (other than grizzletoad) complain about it. But I agree that we should be more careful about what we post to avoid any possible accusations.

She was getting dragged by something and her shoe comes off, or at the very least pops partially off, I think it was a strappy shoe and it was pretty clear that she was wearing stockings in this (you could see the rht). It was also in color, but it looked like one of the every early color popeye cartoons from the 30s or 40s as popeye was wering his blue sailor outfit although it may have originally been in black and white and was colorized later. Wish I remembered the name.

If it was only a dangle, it's probably the same one I was referring to with the caveman/wild man.

Possibly, what was the name of that one?

Like I said before, I don't remember, I just remember it exists.

I found it! It's called "Pre-Hysterical Man". It's not exactly as I remember it though. Her shoe only comes partially off as she's being dragged but she is wearing stockings (as confirmed by the fact that they were used as parachutes in that one gag)

On the topic of Olive, there are a handful of scenes throughout Popeye history where she removes her footwear. Most of them don't count as losses, but rather removals. I'd still mention them for those who are interested though. While shoe removal isn't the same as shoe loss, it's still better than nothing.

There was one I remember seeing on cartoon network back in the 90s where she's wearing heels and stockings. She gets dragged away and one of her heels falls off. I wish I knew the name of the cartoon. All I remember is that they were stranded in a jungle and it looked like it was from the forties when they had just switched to technicolor.

I also remember one where she's wearing strappy high heels and she's on a construction sight. Somehow her shoe gets stuck and she winds up hanging off the end of a piece of scaffolding by her shoe strap. I think she was wearing stockings in that one too. Again, I don't remember the name of the cartoon either.

There are two, however that I have been able to find (and it may have been thanks to this this MB so it might not be the first time posted here).

1. Fright to the Finish - Olive jumps out of her stockings and shoes after being frightened by Bluto when answering the door. https://youtu.be/__RKftrev-E?t=99

2. It's the Natural Thing To Do - Olive tries to teach Bluto and Popeye to act like gentlemen and not get into so many fights. They go to Olive's house wearing tuxes and Olive is wearing a dress and heels (and I think stockings but it's hard to tell). As you might of guessed, they wind up brawling. Olive gets sucked into the fight and she loses her shoes. The empty shoes wind up tap dancing on their own for a bit. The cartoon ends with the three of them beating each other up. If you pause your way through it you can actually see olive's stocking feet on Popeye's face in one frame and he's smiling.

The one with the construction site is called "A Balmy Swami". (5:30)
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7pt8uw

I couldn't find the one with heels in the jungle, but while searching, I found a different jungle one called "Safari So Good". Olive jumps out of her boots in this one. She wears pants in this one instead of her usual skirt, but at least she's barefoot in this one. (4:17)
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x85jqpx

Nopperabo, the one with Olive knitting is called "Olive's Sweepstakes Ticket" (0:33)

I'm trying to find an old story I remember reading 20 or so years ago. Unfortunately, I forgot the title and don't know who the author is but I do remember what it's about. It's about two young women who work in an office and someone steals their shoes. It's told from one of the women's point of view. She and her friend are working late and are the only ones left in the office. She dozes off in the office and wakes up to find her shoes are no longer on her feet. She thinks her friend played a prank on her and stole them, but it turns out her friend is also missing her shoes. They wander around the office in their stocking feet trying to find their shoes but an invisible man keeps tickling their feet. I forget how it ends, but I think they wind up running away and leave the office shoeless. It was a great story and one I had completely forgotten about until recently. Sadly, I don't remember where I read it and since I don't know the title or author I have no idea how to search for it. Does anyone else here know what I'm talking about?

Oh and I remembered one other thing. If I recall, Alice's stockings are a lot tighter than they appear. In my cell, I think you can see Alice's toe lines on her stocking foot (maybe I'll check tonight, when the sun is down and there is less risk of light damage.)

Well, when I was a kid I always imagined her stockings to be tight and thin. Wish I could find the book it was published in.

The reason I have never mentioned this before is that

1. When I bought the cell, Disney made it clear that they still retained all rights to the image (which means, I suppose, that they digitized it somewhere) And according to my dad the lawyer, that means that I actually CAN'T scan or photograph the cell without committing copyright infringement and leaving myself open to being sued.
2. I am TERRIFIED of what will happen if I leave it out in the light too long and it starts to fade. (I don't even LOOK at it much anymore, it's kept in a pocket in one of by albums, image turned toward the page.)

I CAN however, reveal an interesting tidbit from the image that no one would know from the movie; Alice's shoes are actually center strap (as would be appropriate for the period) as opposed to side strap (as was common when the movie was made). That is, they have TWO short straps that button in the middle, as opposed to one long strap that buttons on one side.

That's very interesting. Is it a cell from the original film that was cut? Or was it made for the book?

One of my earliest memories was seeing Disney's Alice in Wonderland cartoon on tv. I remember seeing Alice lose her shoes when she falls down the rabbit hole. Years later I watched again and she didn't lose shoes. I was very disappointed to say the least. I think it was a combination of two things that caused me to have this hallucination:

1. I really wanted to see it happen. I've had this fetish for as long as I can remember, even as a little kid, so I really wanted to Alice lose her shoes especially because she was wearing stockings.

2. The picture quality on our old tv probably wasn't that good. It's possible the picture was too dark and her black shoes blended in with the background so it looked as though she wasn't wearing any during some of the frames. It doesn't explain how she got them back later, but I was very young and didn't think about such things.

Love the toe stockings in the second video.

I was watching Star Wars Visions, it's a series a of short anime episodes set in the Star Wars universe. So far I haven't seen a shoe loss but this scene caught my eye:

Not sure why her shoe opens up like that, but damn does it look sexy.
