Definitely one of my favourites. The story was fun and the visuals were stunning. A good cast of characters who interacted well with one another and as always their varied personalities really brought the scenes to life.

Tina and Orianne have certainly found a place in my heart. I'm looking forward to seeing their further adventures. Smile

Great work!

The third one is Scarlett Johansson based on the hair and facial freckles. I don't recognise the other two.

Again, I think they are pretty models but I just don't think they leap out as being great conversions. I have respect for anyone who tries though, since I think it's incredibly difficult to do a perfect reconstruction, if not impossible.

I think three is Keira Knightley based on the eyes and hair. They are extremely pretty models but I can't say any of them immediately leapt out at me as being instantly recognisable, not like your Angelina model did.

I'd be interested to see if there was a Natalie Portman model, since there is always the next celebrity Police Academy entrant to consider Tongue

I think it's an awesome concept. It's definitely one of my favourite scenarios.

And whilst I like the uniforms shown on the set cards, personally i'd prefer something more in the St Trinian's style, like the outfit on Lucia's setcard.

You've done another fantastic job updating the models. I particularly like the revised Guelcan and Sophie. You've managed to keep the distinctive features of the original models whilst at the same time giving them a fresh new look.

Sophie, for example, is instantly recognizable as our favourite Nylondon bully and it's no leap at all to accept the new version as having all the old Sophie history. For that, you are to be commended Smile

She is the first character I ever commissioned from Fantomaz and I was amazed with the job he did. She remains one of my favourite characters and the only reason she didn't appear in the Police Academy story was concern that she would look dated next to the shiny new models.

I think she remains one of he most interesting characters with a lot of scope for future adventures and i'd love to see her updated. I was sad to see her in the faded stars section and had pondered whether it would be possible to commission an updated version. I'd be interested to hear Fant's view Smile

Truthfully, i'm not sure how I feel about this series since i'm into the playful and fun stories rather than the darker side, but i'm determined to view the project with an open mind!

As for the models, they are certainly interesting and i'm intrigued to find out more of their backstories. If I had to choose one of them to be tickled silly, i'd go with Saki Smile

There are certainly some interesting ideas in there and I enjoyed reading them. It's great to know that the original story proved interesting enough to promote significant thought about the aftermath of the events of that day.

One of the amazing strengths of the story that Fantomaz and Mandrake wove was that it wrapped up the day sufficiently for the reader to feel that events had been satisfactorily concluded, but at the same time it left plenty of room for follow up stories. And that is one of the great strengths of the Nylondon universe, the depth of the characters. They all have rich histories, personalities and motivations that make the stories so vibrant and interesting and give so much scope for fun storylines.

From my own personal perspective of commissioning custom stories, I don't intend to set another story entirely within the hotel. Future stories do and will make reference to the events there and it's possible that there may even be future scenes in that establishment. So i'm sure that we haven't quite seen the last of Hotel Plaza Smile

As to whether Fantomaz has any plans, you'd have to ask him Wink

Katie's Ticklish Patrol 08-01-2010 21:37 Forum: E-Comics

Well, without giving too much away in terms of plot and surprises, I can say that this was another hugely entertaining and creative publication. Firstly, if you like hot female cops in sexy outfits (and who doesn't?) you are going to really enjoy this story. It centres around Anoushka and her potential new partner, Katie, as she investigates what appears to be just a standard disturbance involving some local youths, but all is not what it seems.....

The central characters of Anoushka and Katie are intriguing and its clear to see that these two are going to be getting involved in a lot of colourful adventures going forward. This really looks to be the start of a beautiful (and ticklish) friendship. Eszter and Mira provide ample support as the villains of the piece, being the sort of likeable bad girls that Fantomaz seems to create so well. These are again rounded and well thought out characters that you feel genuine attachment to.

Katie is the main tickle victim, a role she performs admirably. Some great action, interesting angle shots and enjoyable teasing dialogue. And her seamed nylons look fantastic. Of course, the other three all ultimately wind up on the receiving end eventually, with some very creative tickling methods and a nice pay off at the end. There is less time devoted to these three getting it compared to Katie, but the star of the story should always be in the limelight for the longest time. (And frankly I found Katie to be the cutest of the four, so no complaints here).

With regard to the price, $24 is more than you would normally pay for a standard tickling comic, but when you consider the number of pages and pictures, in my opinion its good value for money.

So if you like cute cops and playful bad girls this is the one for you. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely rate it as one of the more entertaining publications.

Personally i'm hoping for a 4-3 USA victory. I want the US to win, but i'd hate to see Anoushka and the other American ladies miss out. Wink

Plus, after the disappointment of a 0-0 draw in the last match, we are due a goalfest in this one!

This is a fantastic idea and I have to say I really like the look of Yasmin! It's just a shame that England played so badly, i'm actually embarrassed by their performance.

So not only did they let me down by only getting one point, they let me down on the tickling front by not scoring! Arrrghh, its a cruel game!

If it is of any consolation, whilst the revamp obviously looks better I certainly didn't feel that the original version in any way detracted or distracted from the enjoyment of the story. I didn't notice any issue when reading through the first version.

It's always different when looking specifically at a couple of individual pictures, which is always going to highlight and amplify any perceived flaws in the images compared to running through a publication in its entirety where there is an awful lot to see and for the eyes to enjoy.

So don't beat yourself up over one negative comment. Its just a shame people arent a bit more forthcoming with positive comments sometimes as quite frankly some of the images you have come up with, and im thinking particularly of the Hotel comic, are among some of the best i've ever seen.

And of course, the fact that you went through and re-rendered is to your credit and certainly looks fantastic Smile

I found this to be another enjoyable and light-hearted romp featuring poor, hapless Canan, (who can never seem to get a break) and also sees the introduction of wildcat farm girl Amy to the Fantomaz universe.

The story itself is very straightforward and a fleshing out of an incident that first appeared as Canan's embarrassing moment in her original e-portfolio. The main tickling protagonists are the very cute (and very provocatively attired!) Gabrielle, Sophie (who always seems to be at the centre of any tickling action...usually because she starts it!) and ultimately just about everyone else at the soccer game gets involved, including another member of Sophie's infamous tickle gang, Romina.

Of the two ticklees, Canan needs no introduction as this shy, submissive cutie has been on the receiving end of many tickling fingers over the past few months so I won't dwell overly on her, other than to say its once again fun to see that every time she tries to do something positive and come out of her shell, she always ends up embarrassed and laughing her head off. One can only hope the poor girl will have a change of fortune at some point and be the one dishing it out rather than being on the receiving end.

Wildcat Amy I like very much. A spunky, confident farmgirl who grew up with 5 brothers (once can only imagine the ticklish childhood endured by our Southern heroine) who attempts to come to Canan's rescue but soon finds herself laughing it up alongside her. I think Amy is really cute, I loved her attitude and her outfit looked great. The suntan shade nylons were perfect for her. And from an evil point of view, its always fun to see a good girl tickled silly by naughty girls for trying to do the right thing!

The gang tickle scenario worked very well and the use of the bin to restrain Amy was creative and amusing. The dialogue was of its usual entertaining standard, and I particularly enjoyed Sophie's verbal taunting of our stubborn wildcat. There was the odd typo, but nothing to ruin the enjoyment of the story. The tickling action was also what we have come to expect of a Fantomaz comic, with interesting multiple angle shots and plenty of images. The story pace feels just about right, with a reasonably sprightly build up leaving lots of pages for the tickle action. And once again, the backgrounds, scenery and props help to create a totally believable story.

I very much hope that we see more of Amy and that she wreaks her revenge on her cruel tormentors. From a personal point of view, i'd love to see Romina worked over as I have a hunch that she would break fairly easily and maybe give up some interesting information about how to get Sophie.....

So in summary, another very enjoyable and entertaining outing for the girls. The best compliment I can pay is that once again it seemed to end all too soon and I was left wanting more.

FantomaZ, you leave us with an impossible choice! All four of the stories are tantalising and intriguing and i've no doubt that all will be fantastic....i wan't to read them all!

For now though, I will vote for everyone's favourite Fight Girl Hatice, who very, very, very narrowly beats Officer Katie and Tomb Raider Sui. Smile

Personally, i'd recommend A Stupid Bet first. It's fantastic value for the number of pages, Aynur and Hatice are awesome characters and its a really fun story and scenario.

I'd put Andrea's briefcase problem a very close second behind that.

But whichever you choose, i'm sure you'll enjoy it Smile

Maya 05-08-2010 22:03 Forum: Announcements

From User 003

Hey FantomaZ )

I'm really impressed with Maya, so i'd like to suggest a scenario for her if I may.

The basic outline is that Nadja is visiting her client Maya in her swanky home to sign some legal papers. Maya is acting the typical drama queen and complaining that her latest movie 'only' made 80 million in its first weekend. Maya is lying on her back on a couch. Nadja tells her to cheer up . Nadja, being Nadja, has been looking for a way to tickle her all along and this presents the perfect opportunity. Nadja quickly scoops up Maya's ankles and sits down on the couch. Maya is still distracted by the (in her mind!) terrible results and doesn't really register what is happening. Nadja quickly crosses one of her legs over both Maya's ankles, effectively pinning Maya's ankles between Nadja's crossed legs and leaving both of Nadja's hands free to give Maya's feet the coochie coo treatment and tickle away those Hollywood blues!

So Maya is basically lying along the length of the couch and Nadja is sitting at right angles to her on the couch in a normal seating position, but with Maya's ankles trapped by her crossed legs. Maya is very ticklish and her arms flail around, but she doesn't have the strength to sit up and try to fight off Nadja.

Nadja's outfit is similar to the one on her setcard picture where she is holding the briefcase. Black top, short grey skirt, but with a darker nylons with reinforced heels and toes. Her shoes are off (since Maya doesn't want shoes dirtying her expensive carpets). Nadja is not wearing her sunglasses.

I envision Maya in some sort of classy dress, but shorter than in the setcard pictures, maybe knee length. Sheer nylons with reinforced toes, unpatterned and a shade similar to those in her setcard pics.

I hope that all makes sense. Please let me know if you need any clarification or additional details.

Thanks and keep up the great work!
