I find horror movies and especially zombie movies to be a good opportunity to see foot grabs and hopefully shoe loss.
In the new Netflix show, Black Summer, in episode 1, about 16 minutes in, Jaime King's character is trying to scale a chainlink fence while being chased by her now zombie husband. As she's climbing, the zombie tries to grab her and eventually, she gets her right athletic shoe torn off, revealing a black sock. She obviously gets saved and the scene ends. The next time you see her, both shoes are back.

i've been searching for this for a while now, but when I was younger, I remember an episode of Saved by the Bell where Zack and AC Slater are making a wager in front of the lockers on something. AC proposes that Kelly will be the next person that shows up, and Zack agrees to the bet.
Kelly shows up because her shoes are missing (shows up in just her socks) and asks if anyone has seen her shoes. Turns on AC Slater had stolen them and hands them back to Kelly after winning the bet.
Anyone else remember this scene or can help find it?

I was just about to post this. All this year I've been looking more forward to this than the new season of Game of Thrones. I'm hoping this will lead to more stocking foot focused anime.
Also browsing through his twitter picks, it looks as though there is shoe loss in this anime, or at least in the artwork for it.

Animefeet is dead I know it wasn't it's main focus but it could be occasionally be good resource to find obscure shoe loss scenes. With this shutting down along with Droppedit's shoe loss page 2019 kind of feels like the end of era. Maybe one day even this forum will have to shut down and we'll have to find a new site to archive shoe loss scenes and stories.

As people get older their lives get more busy and it's harder to find the time and energy to keep up with hobbies like this. The good news is there's always someone new coming in to fill the void, often with something better. But still it's a good idea to save stuff while you can, you never know when it will be gone.
