When registering on this message board the only data required are a user name (not your real Name, just any name), an email-address (no need for it to valid, if you don't want to be notified about new Posts in threads you are interested in) and a Password.
The only data stored aside from this basic account information are postings and private messages. You can change your account data (email, profile, Password) anytime in your user CP. There you can also change settings about the type of notifications you'd like to receive.
